For the "Baphnom Pride" project, I asked 6 11th grade students, the Khmer teacher and the Biology teacher of Baphnom High School to pose in front of the camera to create 8 portraits. They all kindly agreed. Over the course of five months, I diligently produced eight vibrant acrylic paintings, each measuring 120 cm in height and 80 cm in length.

At the same time, I contacted the S'ra Art Gallery in Phnom Penh to propose an exhibition of our institute's portraits. The gallery readily accepted and paired me with an artist from England whose style matched mine, creating a joint exhibition of our work.

Back at the school, our goal was to foster an environment of creativity, culture, and art. The students were so enthralled that they visited my classroom (which had become a studio) daily to witness the progress of the paintings.

At one point, I asked each student to share their thoughts on camera by recording a video titled "Why Should We Have Art Classes in School?" Each student expressed his or her opinion, and the resulting video was shared on social media.

The exhibition lasted nearly two months at the gallery, and now the gallery is circulating the paintings among various cultural and artistic centers in the city.

As a volunteer, I cannot benefit financially from extracurricular activities. Therefore, I signed an agreement to forgo any profits from the sale of the paintings. Instead, I asked the gallery to donate the proceeds to a charitable cause.
